Morning Announcements 10/21/09
Miss Smith County Pageant: Girls interested in participating in the Miss Smith County Pageant will meet today during morning break. An announcement will be made to excuse students.
FCCLA will meet tomorrow during morning break in the Library.
FCA will meet Friday morning at 7:20 am in the Music Room.
The Student Council will be sponsoring Red Ribbon Week "Building Good Character by Staying Drug Free" next week (10/26 thru 10/30). A table will be set up in the front lobby during lunch. Any student who would like to pledge to be drug and alcohol free can come by and sign a pledge sheet.
Fall Picture Retakes: Any student that had fall picture retakes made should have orders and money turned in by next Friday, October 30th.
Seniors: Katie Morrow from Student Outreach Services will be here next Tuesday, October 27th at 8:15 am to met with seniors in the Music Room.
4th Annual Fields of Faith will be Saturday, October 24th at 7:00 pm
Fields of Faith T-shirts are on sale now.....short sleeve $8.00, long sleeve $10.00. If you would like to buy one, please see Mrs. Lisa Dillingham.
High School Basketball Girls are selling black long-sleeve shirts and white shirts with blue quarter-length sleeves $15.00. They are also selling beanies $10.00. If you would like to buy one, please see one of the basketball girls or Coach Agee.
The ACT will be given this Saturday to all students who have registered. Students should be here by 7:45 am. Testing will start at 8:00 am.
The PLAN Test will be given to all sophomores next Wednesday, October 28th.
3rd Annual Chad's Run will be Saturday, November 7th at 8:00 am. Registration Fee is $20.00. Registration forms are available for download on front of website.
The Tennessee Concrete Association Essay Contests is now available to students ages 18 0 18. a 600 word or less essay is required. The deadline is November 30th. See Mrs. Vaden for more information and an application.
Seniors: Any senior planning to attend Tennessee Tech in the fall should see Mrs. Vaden for important scholarship information.
